How do teachers grade you in math?

Teachers grade you in math using a curriculum. The final grade you get on your report card for grade 9 math is based on your homework, quizzes, tests, class participation, unit tests, and finals.(image below will show exact mark according to the Vancouver learning network) With these all added up these will be your overall grade. Finals and quizzes would take most of your graded so you should pay attention to those. Overall these would be how your grades end up on your report card.

You will learn how to simplify powers using exponent laws
Polynomials
You will learn how to add, subtract, multiply and divide polynomials

You will continue to graph linear relations, but also learn how to guess values when needed

You will learn how to apply proportional reasoning in the context of spatial problems
Statistics
You will learn how to better interpret statistics that you see all around you
Rational Numbers
You will learn how to simplify more complex expressions with various types of rational numbers using order of operations
Linear Equations
You will practice solving multi-step equations in the context of word problems
