A restaurant in Richmond is preparing to say its final goodbye this weekend.

Chinese-Korean restaurant Cherry's Food House announced on social media that it will be closing permanently on Sept. 14 after a seven-year run on the well-known "food street" of Alexandra Road.

The restaurant was most well-known for its deep-fried mini crab dish, but also offered a variety of staple Korean dishes, from fried chicken and seafood pancakes to hot tofu soup and black bean noodles.

An Instagram post on the local business' account said it made the "difficult decision" to close, citing the end of its "current chapter" for the restaurant.

Blasted Church Vineyards is named after an incident in 1929 when a church congregation wanted to dismantle an old wooden church and bring it back to Okanagan Falls.
